Arun Burman says that the milk is first heated in the pan. After that the milk is left to cool slightly for some time. After cooling, milk is poured into an earthen vessel and left to curdle. After that the curd is covered with tray and blanket from above. Curd is ready in 4 to 5 hours. He says that curd is prepared keeping in mind special cleanliness on Makar Sankranti.
